Adriana is one of the first people I worked with closely at Hearsay. A few things were transparent from day one: Adriana’s passion for her craft, desire to support her team, curiosity and willingness to try new approaches, and most importantly, her warmth and genuine kindness.

The things I discovered while working with her for a year and a half: Adriana’s ability to explore all sides of a problem, her technical design skill, capacity to integrate research and feedback to iterate quickly, her grit and consistency in the face of long projects or tedious implementations, and her capacity to spread joy and enthusiasm while making it all look easy.

I’ve watched Adriana meticulously develop and manage a design system, design review for our entire product (so many scrum teams), bring an entirely new navigation experience to life, collaborate gracefully with cross-functional teams, advocate for usability and inclusive design, and guide others through thoughtful documentation and workshops. I hope I get the privilege of working with Adriana again someday, and anyone would be lucky to do the same!

I've never had a design partner as dependable, collaborative, and willing to figure out how to design through difficult problems as Adriana. She can squeeze water from the driest earth. She can take the most uninspired legacy UI and revive it into something delightful, streamlined, and modern. Adriana's almost single handedly revitalized Hearsay's entire UI.

Most recently, Adriana created the UI for Hearsay's improved navigation experience, moving from a dated (boring) horizontal navigation displaying product SKUs as navigation items to a vertical UI that focused more on workflows that make sense to our users. Our users have loved the more streamlined and workflow-focused UI, and in places where issues have arose Adriana was extremely quick to iterate and present solutions to our engineering teams. Our issue turnaround was under one day thanks to Adriana's quick thinking and wealth of UI design strategies.

I'd highly recommend Adriana to any org, and would be happy to work with her again.

Adriana is one of the hardest working designers I've ever met. She always reaches out for feedback about her work and takes the feedback with excitement and enthusiasm. She truly always looks for things to be continuously improved and is the main cheerleader in making sure that happens.
